We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Aide to join our team in the manufacturing industry in Dubai. The Mental Health Aide will work closely with individuals experiencing mental health challenges to provide support, guidance, and assistance in improving their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with mental health issues in a manufacturing setting
- Assist individuals with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' behavior and mental health status
- Collaborate with mental health professionals, such as psychologists and counselors, to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals with mental health challenges
- Educate individuals on coping mechanisms and self-care techniques
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental health challenges in a healthcare or social services setting (3-5 years of experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment options
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
