We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Municipal Planner Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for urban planning and a strong understanding of retail development within a municipal setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Municipal Planner in reviewing and evaluating retail development proposals
- Conduct research on zoning regulations, land use policies, and market trends
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with municipal regulations
- Attend meetings and public hearings related to retail development projects
- Provide support in analyzing site plans and development proposals
- Assist in conducting site visits and inspections as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in municipal planning, preferably in retail development
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles and zoning regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in GIS and other planning software is a plus
