We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Municipal Planner Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, with a focus on Energy projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior Municipal Planners to assist in the development and implementation of municipal plans related to energy infrastructure and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting research and analysis related to energy planning and sustainability initiatives
- Support the development of municipal plans and policies that promote energy efficiency and renewable energy sources
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and input for planning projects
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for municipal planning projects
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and public consultations related to energy planning initiatives
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in energy planning and sustainability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or a related field
- [Number] years of experience in municipal planning, with a focus on energy projects
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in GIS and other planning software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of energy policy and regulations in Abu Dhabi is preferred
