Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate National Park Ranger specializing in Transportation and Logistics to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preserving the natural beauty and ecological integrity of our national parks while ensuring safe and efficient transport and logistics operations for visitors and park activities. This position combines environmental stewardship with logistical expertise, making it ideal for individuals who are committed to conservation and enjoy working in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Park Operations Management:
- Oversee and coordinate transportation services within the national park, including shuttle services, guided tours, and emergency response vehicles.
- Manage logistics for park events, ensuring that transportation and equipment needs are met efficiently.

2. Visitor Services:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for visitors, providing information on park attractions, safety protocols, and transportation options.
- Assist in the planning and execution of park programs and events, ensuring seamless logistical support.

3. Environmental Stewardship:
- Monitor and assess the impact of transportation activities on the park's ecosystem and wildlife.
- Implement sustainable practices in transportation and logistics to minimize environmental footprints.

4. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all transportation and logistics operations comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, maintaining safety records and ensuring proper maintenance.

5. Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with park management, local authorities, and transportation agencies to enhance park accessibility and visitor experience.
- Train and supervise seasonal staff and volunteers in transportation operations and park safety protocols.

6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, visitor numbers, and logistics operations.
- Prepare regular reports on transportation effectiveness, visitor satisfaction, and environmental impact.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics, preferably within a national park or outdoor recreation setting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental conservation practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Proficient in the use of logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license; experience with off-road vehicles is a plus.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
