Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Park Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and landscaping of our pharmaceutical park located in Dubai. This role is crucial to ensuring that the park remains a safe, aesthetically pleasing, and functional environment for our employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscaping, or facilities maintenance, combined with excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of park maintenance, including landscaping, gardening, and facilities upkeep.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all park areas, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of the park facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Collaborate with the safety and compliance team to ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Plan and execute landscaping projects, including planting, pruning, and irrigation system installation, to enhance the park's appearance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment usage, and inventory of supplies.
- Develop and manage the park maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and timely procurement of materials.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services as needed.
- Engage with park users to gather feedback and address any concerns related to park maintenance and facilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, horticultural practices, and maintenance equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to park maintenance and landscaping.
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
