Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits, and compliance with local regulations. The Payroll Specialist will play a key role in supporting our workforce and maintaining employee satisfaction through meticulous payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Payroll Processing:
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll calculations, adjustments, and distributions. This includes handling salary payments, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.

- Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll. Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting payroll operations and implement necessary adjustments.

- Data Management:
Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HRIS system. Ensure that all employee data, including new hires, terminations, leave of absences, and salary changes, are accurately reflected.

- Reporting:
Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management, including headcount reports, payroll summaries, and tax reports. Analyze payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies.

- Employee Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries. Address and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently and professionally.

- Collaboration:
Work closely with the HR department to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits administration.

- Audit and Reconciliation:
Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reconcile payroll accounts and assist in internal and external audits as necessary.

- Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payroll function. Assist in the implementation of new payroll systems, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance in the UAE.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems. Experience with [specific software, if applicable] is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
