Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of procurement operations in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and project requirements in the real estate sector.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

2. Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

3. Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project timelines and budgets.

4. Budget Management:
- Assist in the preparation and management of procurement budgets, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific procurement policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and supplier relationships.

6. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, project management, and operations, to achieve shared objectives.

7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
- Utilize data analytics to track procurement trends and inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement operations, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
