Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Health Administrator to join our team in the Transportation and Logistics sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, logistics, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on enhancing the health and safety standards within the transportation industry. The Public Health Administrator will work collaboratively with government agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to develop, implement, and evaluate health programs and initiatives that promote public health and safety in transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Management:
- Design, implement, and manage public health programs related to transportation and logistics, ensuring alignment with national health policies and local regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and initiatives, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.

2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health regulations and standards within the transportation sector.
- Liaise with relevant government bodies to stay updated on regulatory changes and advocate for public health considerations in transportation policies.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret public health data related to transportation and logistics to inform decision-making and policy development.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with transportation companies, government agencies, and community organizations to promote health initiatives and best practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on public health issues related to transportation.

5. Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for public health crises affecting the transportation sector, including infectious disease outbreaks and environmental hazards.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams and public health officials to ensure effective communication and response strategies.

6. Research and Best Practices:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in public health as it relates to transportation and logistics.
- Conduct research and review literature to support program development and policy advocacy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Environmental Health, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health administration, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
- Knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology, and health promotion strategies.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing transportation and logistics in the UAE.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis software.
