Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Public Health Administrator with a strong background in Information Technology to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public health programs through the integration of technology solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of public health principles, as well as expertise in IT systems, data management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Management:
- Collaborate with public health officials and stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate public health programs that leverage technology for improved health outcomes.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful program delivery.

2. Data Management and Analysis:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of public health data using advanced IT tools and software.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

3. IT System Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of health information systems, electronic health records, and other digital platforms that support public health initiatives.
- Work with IT teams to customize software solutions that meet the specific needs of public health programs.

4. Training and Capacity Building:
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for public health personnel on the use of technology in health initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff in utilizing IT systems effectively.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
- Represent the organization in meetings and conferences related to public health and technology.

6. Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that govern the use of technology in public health practice.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in public health and health informatics.

7. Quality Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology-driven health programs, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders that summarize program outcomes and impact.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in public health administration, health informatics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of public health principles and practices, particularly in the context of technology integration.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, health information systems, and database management.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in training and capacity building is an asset.
