Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Dubai. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategies, expanding our market presence, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the energy market, with a proven track record of achieving business development goals and enhancing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the energy sector.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and market dynamics.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.

2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing client base.

3. Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements and are delivered on time.

4. Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to align business development activities with overall organizational goals.
- Mentor and support junior business development staff, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering collaboration and open communication.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, outlining market insights, pipeline status, and strategic recommendations.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads and track progress efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the energy sector, with a strong focus on renewable energy or oil and gas.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
