We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's database systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. The Senior Database Administrator will work closely with our IT team, as well as other departments within the organization, to support the data needs of our healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet the needs of the organization.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient operation.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce database security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support data-driven decision-making.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- [X] years of experience in database administration (experience in healthcare industry preferred).
- Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) are a plus.
