We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Designer to join our Transportation and Logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, particularly within the transportation sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design process for transportation and logistics projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for electrical systems
- Conduct site visits to assess electrical requirements and provide technical support
- Create detailed electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of electrical designs
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the transportation industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to electrical systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
