Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design within the Information Technology sector, demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing electrical systems for various IT applications. You will be responsible for leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all electrical designs meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for IT projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts using CAD software and other design tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical systems, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards, including safety regulations and best practices.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation prepared by junior designers and engineers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Mentor and train junior electrical designers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical design and IT systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, specifically in the Information Technology sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and technologies relevant to IT applications.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
