Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Geologist to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in geology, with a focus on site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and environmental assessments. The Senior Geologist will play a crucial role in ensuring the geological integrity of our real estate projects, contributing to the planning, development, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological and geotechnical investigations to assess soil, rock, and groundwater conditions at proposed development sites.
- Prepare detailed geological reports and interpret data to provide insights on site suitability, stability, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and environmental specialists to design and implement site investigation programs.
- Analyze and interpret geological maps, cross-sections, and geophysical surveys to guide construction and site development.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines during all geological assessments.
- Provide expert advice on geological risks associated with construction projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Manage and mentor junior geologists and interns, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest geological research, technologies, and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project approvals and address any geological concerns.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geological assessments, geotechnical investigations, or environmental consulting, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Proficiency in geological software and tools for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and rock mechanics.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in construction.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
