Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Al Ain, specializing in the Consumer Goods sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing user experience across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Manage and resolve complex IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations.
- Train and mentor junior IT support staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations within the IT environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations related to IT security and data protection.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in the Consumer Goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and IT security practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly desirable.
