Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lecturer in Telecommunications to join our dynamic academic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications and a passion for teaching, research, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops in telecommunications and related subjects.
- Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and academic best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations, providing guidance and mentorship to students.
- Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic success.

2. Research and Scholarly Activity:
- Conduct original research in telecommunications, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Publish research findings in reputable academic journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions on research projects and initiatives.
- Seek external funding opportunities to support research activities.

3. Academic Leadership and Administration:
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the strategic planning and development of the telecommunications program.
- Engage in academic administration, including curriculum reviews, assessment processes, and accreditation activities.
- Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to their professional development.

4. Community Engagement:
- Build relationships with local and international industry stakeholders to enhance the relevance of academic programs.
- Participate in outreach activities, promoting the telecommunications program and raising awareness of its importance in the community.
- Engage with alumni and support initiatives that foster lifelong learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

- A Ph.D. in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in higher education, preferably in telecommunications or a related discipline.
- A proven track record of research and publications in reputable journals.
- Strong knowledge of current trends and technologies in the telecommunications industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
