We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Counsel to join our legal team based in Dubai, with a focus on Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in handling complex litigation matters within the energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation matters related to the energy sector, including contract disputes, regulatory compliance, and environmental issues
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively resolve legal disputes and achieve positive outcomes for the company
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts
- Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on legal issues and potential risks
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and experts as needed
- Represent the company in court proceedings and negotiations with opposing parties
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to energy litigation
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in Dubai or another relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on the energy sector
- Strong knowledge of energy industry regulations and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
