Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior PR Manager to join our team in Sharjah, focused on the Aerospace and Defense sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of public relations strategies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the aerospace and defense industry. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage communications, enhance our brand reputation, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies and campaigns that align with the company's goals and objectives in the aerospace and defense sectors.

- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets. Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.

- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality press materials, including press releases, media kits, and speeches. Ensure that all content is aligned with the company’s messaging and brand voice.

- Crisis Management: Develop and execute crisis communication plans. Prepare and train key spokespeople for media interactions during high-stakes situations.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment on key initiatives. Foster relationships with industry stakeholders, government entities, and trade associations.

- Event Management: Plan and execute high-profile events, such as product launches, trade shows, and press conferences, that effectively showcase the company's innovations and capabilities.

- Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends. Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on the effectiveness of public relations efforts.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR strategies that have enhanced brand visibility and reputation.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, particularly in the Middle East region, with established media contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Experience in crisis management and developing communication strategies in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms as part of PR strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
