Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the retail sector based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of process engineering principles and practices and have a strong background in optimizing retail operations. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing processes within the retail operations to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.

- Project Management: Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring that all milestones are met.

- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to operational performance. Utilize statistical analysis and modeling tools to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including supply chain, sales, marketing, and IT to ensure that process improvements are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and workflows. Generate reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on projects.

- Training and Development: Mentor and train junior engineers and other staff members on process engineering concepts and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all processes comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process engineering.

- Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions that can enhance retail operations, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field). A Master’s degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to retail operations.
