Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product design, with a focus on user experience, usability, and aesthetic appeal. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and marketing teams, to create cutting-edge products that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design process from concept through execution, ensuring a consistent and compelling user experience across all products.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and pain points, translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to help define product requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Create and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure design consistency across products.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in product design and user experience, applying this knowledge to enhance our products.
- Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and gather feedback for iterative improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in product design, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, or similar applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your design thinking process and user-centered approach.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about design challenges.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus, but not required.
