Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, focused on revolutionizing the retail experience. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings and enhancing customer engagement through exceptional design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering, to create user-centered designs that drive our retail vision forward.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Strategy: Develop and execute innovative design strategies that align with our brand objectives and enhance the overall customer experience in retail environments.

- User Research: Conduct thorough user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points.

- Concept Development: Generate creative design concepts and prototypes, utilizing tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite, to visualize and communicate ideas effectively.

- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical capabilities and business goals.

- Design Systems: Create and maintain a design system that promotes consistency across all products and platforms, ensuring a unified brand experience.

- Feedback and Iteration: Gather feedback from users and team members, and iterate on designs based on insights to optimize usability and functionality.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment within the design team.

- Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant in the retail market.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in product design, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process from concept to execution.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
