Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team in the retail sector based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance, with a proven track record of safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the integrity of our systems. As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our organizational assets and customer data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Security Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive information security strategies and frameworks that align with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements.

- Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigation plans.

- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process, including identifying, containing, and remediating security breaches, and conducting post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences.

- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001) by developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.

- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver ongoing security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.

- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor security systems and logs for unusual activities, generate reports, and provide insights to upper management regarding the security posture of the organization.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure a coordinated approach to security issues and initiatives.

- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure they meet security requirements and standards.

- Research and Development: Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to recommend enhancements to the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in information security, risk management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements relevant to the retail industry.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
