Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Operations Program Manager to lead our social media initiatives within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness, particularly in an industrial or manufacturing context. This role will be instrumental in enhancing our online presence and conveying our brand message across various social media platforms.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and enhances brand visibility within the manufacturing sector.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation, curation, and management of engaging content for social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Ensure content is consistent with the brand voice and messaging.
- Community Engagement: Actively manage and engage with our online community, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry influencers, and partners.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze social media metrics and performance, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns. Prepare regular reports demonstrating ROI and the effectiveness of social media strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment of social media initiatives with overall business goals.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within the manufacturing industry. Provide recommendations for innovative approaches to enhance our social media presence.
- Training & Development: Lead training sessions and workshops for internal teams to ensure they are effectively utilizing social media tools and strategies.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to address any negative feedback or public relations issues that may arise on social media.
### Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on operations and strategy development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and trends within the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
