Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sound Engineer to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing audio quality in various technology-driven projects, including multimedia applications, virtual reality experiences, and interactive installations. This role will involve collaboration with developers, designers, and other engineers to create immersive audio experiences that align with our company’s vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and optimize audio systems for various IT projects, including software applications, games, and multimedia presentations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective sound solutions.
- Record, edit, and mix audio tracks, ensuring high-quality sound output consistent with project specifications.
- Develop and maintain sound libraries, including sound effects and voiceovers, to support various applications and projects.
- Conduct technical assessments of audio hardware and software, recommending upgrades and improvements to enhance sound quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues during production and post-production phases.
- Stay current with emerging audio technologies and trends in the information technology field to integrate innovative solutions into projects.
- Create and maintain documentation for audio processes, including workflows, settings, and configurations, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas related to sound design and implementation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Sound Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in sound engineering or a similar role, preferably within the information technology sector.
- Proficient in industry-standard audio software and tools (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition).
- Strong knowledge of audio recording techniques, mixing, and mastering processes.
- Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks used in audio application development (e.g., C++, Max/MSP, Pure Data).
- Experience with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and sound design tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality audio experiences.
