Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Planner to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our retail space to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience for our customers. The Store Planner will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, managing inventory levels, and designing store layouts that align with our brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Layout Design: Develop and implement effective store layouts that enhance customer flow, highlight key merchandise, and optimize space utilization. Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Sales Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use this data to make informed decisions regarding product placement and inventory management.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Forecast product demand and make recommendations for reorders and markdowns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including marketing, merchandising, and operations teams, to develop cohesive strategies that drive store performance and customer engagement.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on store planning activities, sales performance, and inventory status to senior management. Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Project Management: Oversee store planning projects from conception through execution, ensuring timelines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform store planning strategies. Conduct site visits to gather insights and benchmark against competitors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in retail planning, visual merchandising, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of sales data and inventory management.
- Proficiency in retail planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current retail trends and best practices in store planning and design.
