Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Planning Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operations, and ensuring the successful execution of programs aligned with our corporate goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the aerospace and defense industry, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to inform strategic decision-making.

2. Program Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic programs and initiatives.
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish program timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.

3. Operational Excellence:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational performance.
- Monitor program progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, industry partners, and customers.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.

5. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards within the aerospace and defense sector.

6. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives for team members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or operations within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and best practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
