Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, with a focus on the design, analysis, and implementation of structures that support telecommunication infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Analysis: Develop structural designs for telecommunications towers, base stations, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion, coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures and propose modifications or enhancements to accommodate new telecommunications equipment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers and telecommunications specialists, to integrate structural designs with overall project objectives.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed structural analysis reports, design calculations, and construction documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity and durability of structures, conducting inspections and assessments as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet safety regulations and industry standards, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in telecommunications to incorporate innovative solutions into structural designs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
- Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro) and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, structural design standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) accreditation.
- Experience with project management and familiarity with project management software.
- Knowledge of seismic design principles and wind load analysis specific to telecommunications structures.
