Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Information Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. As an IT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum, and inspiring students to explore the world of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to various learning styles.
- Teach subjects such as computer science, programming, web development, and information systems to students at various grade levels.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to create an interactive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Foster a culture of innovation and critical thinking among students, encouraging them to explore technology and its applications.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences and improve student engagement.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to design interdisciplinary projects and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in information technology and education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and any concerns.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to technology, such as coding clubs, robotics competitions, and IT workshops.
- Provide guidance and support for students interested in pursuing further studies or careers in technology.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in information technology or a related subject.
- Strong understanding of current educational technology and digital tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Familiarity with various programming languages and software development methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
