Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the integration and implementation of technology within the educational environment, ensuring that all staff and students have access to the necessary tools and resources to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, addressing hardware and software issues related to computers, tablets, and other educational technology.

- System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of educational software, learning management systems, and other classroom technologies to ensure optimal performance.

- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and students on the effective use of technology in the classroom, including the integration of educational software and digital resources.

- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of technology equipment, including checking in and out devices, monitoring usage, and ensuring proper care and maintenance.

- Collaboration: Work closely with educators and administrative staff to identify technology needs and provide solutions that enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest educational technology trends and tools, and recommend new resources that could benefit the school's curriculum and teaching strategies.

- Documentation: Maintain documentation of technology procedures, FAQs, and guides for staff and students to facilitate easier access to information and resources.

- Project Assistance: Support technology-related projects and initiatives within the educational institution, collaborating with various stakeholders to implement solutions effectively.

- Network Support: Assist in the maintenance of the school’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable internet access and connectivity for all users.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within an educational environment.

- Strong understanding of various educational technologies, software applications, and digital learning tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.

- Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops is a plus.

- Familiarity with network management and basic IT infrastructure is advantageous.

- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred, but not mandatory.
