Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Theater Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of theater production, including staging, lighting, sound, and overall event coordination. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with production managers, directors, and technical staff to ensure seamless execution of theater productions.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment, including lighting, sound, and stage props.
- Help manage schedules, coordinate rehearsals, and support performers during practice and live events.
- Maintain an organized inventory of production supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are in good working condition.
- Assist in creating and implementing stage designs that align with production themes and requirements.
- Support the technical team in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during rehearsals and performances.
- Participate in the development of promotional materials and assist with audience engagement activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all production staff and performers.
- Provide logistical support for special events, including VIP tours, product demonstrations, and community outreach initiatives related to aerospace and defense.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in theater production or a related field, with a strong interest in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Familiarity with theater production equipment and technology, including sound, lighting, and stage rigging.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming production challenges.
- An understanding of safety regulations and protocols relevant to theater productions.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for productions and rehearsals.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in Theater Arts, Production Management, or a related field.
- Experience in event coordination or project management within the aerospace or defense sectors is a plus.
- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in theater production and their application within the aerospace and defense context.
