Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Theater Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support the production of theatrical performances and events that aim to educate and engage the community about health and wellness. This role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, artists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth and effective production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of theatrical productions, including rehearsals, performances, and community outreach events focused on health education.
- Coordinate logistics for productions, including scheduling, equipment setup, and transportation of materials and personnel.
- Support the production team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining production calendars, and compiling reports.
- Assist with stage management duties, including cueing actors, managing props, and ensuring the stage is ready for performances.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that the content of performances is accurate and relevant to the audience.
- Help manage budgets and inventory for production materials, ensuring that all resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.
- Engage with the audience and community members during events, providing information about the productions and the healthcare topics being addressed.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to raise awareness of upcoming productions and engage with the community.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations related to theatrical productions in a healthcare setting.
- Assist in post-production evaluations and feedback sessions to improve future performances.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts, Performing Arts, Healthcare Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in theater production, stage management, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Basic knowledge of theater production processes, including stagecraft, lighting, sound, and set design.
- Familiarity with healthcare concepts and the ability to translate medical information into engaging performance content is a plus.
- Proficiency in using productivity software (e.g., MS Office Suite, project management tools) and familiarity with stage management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by production schedules.
