Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tour Guide Supervisor to lead and enhance our telecommunications tours in Sharjah. This position is ideal for a dynamic individual who possesses a passion for storytelling, a strong knowledge of telecommunications, and excellent leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of tour guides, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and promoting the insights and innovations in the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervision and Training:
- Manage and train a team of tour guides, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the latest telecommunications technologies, company offerings, and industry trends.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of tour guides.

- Tour Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate daily tours, ensuring that all logistics, including transportation, schedules, and visitor accommodations, are efficiently managed.
- Create and update tour itineraries to reflect new developments in the telecommunications field and enhance visitor engagement.

- Customer Experience:
- Ensure that all tours are conducted in a professional manner, providing an enjoyable and informative experience for all participants.
- Gather feedback from tour participants and implement improvements based on their suggestions to enhance future tours.

- Content Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop engaging and informative tour content that highlights the significance of telecommunications in modern society.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in telecommunications to provide accurate information during tours.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all tours adhere to safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Conduct regular assessments of tour routes and facilities to guarantee compliance with safety standards.

- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of tour attendance, visitor feedback, and guide performance metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports for management on tour operations, including successes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the tourism or telecommunications industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and their impact on society.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using technology for tour management and customer engagement.
