We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Assistant to join our Information Technology team in Dubai. The Transportation Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation needs of our department, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation logistics for the department, including scheduling deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with transportation vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation services
- Track and monitor transportation costs and expenses
- Assist in the development and implementation of transportation policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities
- Provide support and assistance to team members as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in transportation or logistics
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
