### Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and transportation operations within the healthcare sector in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of medical supplies, equipment, and personnel, while also maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare logistics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships with various stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Logistics Management: Plan, implement, and manage transportation strategies to ensure the timely delivery of healthcare materials and services. Monitor and evaluate logistics operations to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs.

- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of transportation coordinators and drivers, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and international transportation regulations, including those specific to the healthcare industry. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and standards.

- Supplier and Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with transport service providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to optimize service delivery.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for transportation operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess transportation performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and prepare regular reports for senior management.

- Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans for transportation disruptions and implement solutions to minimize impact on healthcare delivery.

- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, inventory management, and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless operations and coordinated logistics efforts.

### Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CLTD) is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management, preferably within the healthcare sector.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with healthcare supply chain management systems is a plus.

- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team while fostering a positive work environment.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic thinking.

- Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations: Understanding of healthcare logistics, including regulations governing the transport of medical supplies and equipment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as required.
