We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Assistant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aerospace and defense industry and a strong understanding of transportation logistics.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation logistics for the shipment of aerospace and defense products
- Arrange for the transportation of goods via air, sea, or land, ensuring timely delivery
- Monitor shipment schedules and track the progress of shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to facilitate smooth transportation operations
- Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
- Assist with customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate transportation requirements and address any issues that may arise
- Provide support to the Transportation Manager in analyzing transportation costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- [Random number] years of experience in transportation logistics, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
- Strong knowledge of international transportation regulations and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and transportation management software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
