We are seeking a passionate and experienced Urban Forester to join our team in Dubai. As an Urban Forester, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the urban forest within the city, with a focus on sustainability and environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement urban forestry programs and initiatives to enhance the city's green spaces.
- Conduct tree inventories and assessments to monitor the health and condition of trees.
- Implement tree planting and maintenance programs to ensure the long-term health and growth of the urban forest.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote urban forestry initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and support on tree care, pruning, and removals.
- Monitor and manage pests and diseases affecting trees in the urban environment.
- Develop and implement strategies for urban heat island mitigation and climate change adaptation.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in urban forestry.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban forestry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, tree care techniques, and urban forestry practices.
- Experience in project management and program development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
