Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Venue Operations Program Manager to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmaceutical events and venues in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venue management, project coordination, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. This role will require exceptional organizational and leadership skills to ensure successful event execution while adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage operational plans for pharmaceutical events, conferences, and other venue-related activities.
- Ensure that all programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and compliance, to align event objectives with organizational goals.
2. Venue Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of pharmaceutical venues, ensuring optimal functionality and service delivery.
- Coordinate logistics, setup, and breakdown for events while managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Conduct regular audits of venue operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
3. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for events and venue operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor expenses and provide reports on financial performance, including variances and cost-saving opportunities.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and sponsors, fostering strong relationships to enhance collaboration and satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and implement improvements for future events.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Organize training sessions to enhance team members’ skills in operations management, compliance, and customer service.
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations as they apply to venue operations and events in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Implement quality assurance processes to guarantee the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in venue operations, event management, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards related to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
