We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Video Game Tester Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video games and a keen eye for identifying bugs and glitches in gameplay. This position is based in the Pharmaceuticals industry, specifically focused on testing and quality assurance for pharmaceutical-themed video games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Video Game Tester in conducting gameplay testing to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues
- Document and report any issues found during testing in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all identified issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
- Assist in creating test plans and test cases for new and existing video games
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in video game testing and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of video game platforms, genres, and mechanics
- Previous experience in video game testing or quality assurance is preferred but not required (up to 8 years)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Passion for video games and a desire to help create high-quality gaming experiences
