Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workforce Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our workforce management strategies within the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing workforce efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving operational excellence. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and strong leadership capabilities to manage a diverse team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workforce management strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring optimal staffing levels and resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyze workforce metrics, including productivity, labor costs, and employee engagement, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to forecast staffing needs, facilitate recruitment processes, and manage onboarding and training initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of workforce analysts and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of employee engagement and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in workforce management, including adherence to labor laws and health and safety standards.
- Utilize workforce management software and tools to streamline operations, improve scheduling accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Conduct regular audits of workforce processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive operational improvements that enhance overall performance.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on workforce performance metrics, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce management, operations management, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in utilizing workforce management software and analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on employee development and engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and workforce management systems.
