We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Zoning Coordinator to join our retail team in Abu Dhabi. The Zoning Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all zoning regulations and requirements are met for our retail locations in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret zoning codes and regulations to ensure compliance for retail locations
- Coordinate with local government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Develop and maintain relationships with city officials and zoning authorities
- Conduct site visits and assessments to determine zoning requirements for new and existing retail locations
- Prepare and submit zoning applications and documentation
- Monitor and track zoning changes and updates that may affect retail operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure zoning compliance for store layouts and signage
- Provide guidance and support to store managers on zoning issues and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field
- [X] years of experience in zoning coordination, preferably in the retail industry
- Knowledge of local zoning laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and zoning software
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits
