Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Zoning Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare facilities comply with local zoning laws and regulations. This position will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to facilitate the planning and development of healthcare services that meet the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Zoning Compliance:
- Review zoning requests, applications, and plans related to healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with local zoning regulations and policies.
- Prepare zoning reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, government agencies, and community stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Organize and participate in public hearings and community meetings related to zoning issues.

3. Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on zoning laws, regulations, and policies relevant to healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi.
- Analyze data and trends related to healthcare services and zoning to provide informed recommendations.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of zoning applications, decisions, and correspondence.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.

5. Policy Development:
- Assist in the development and implementation of zoning policies and procedures related to healthcare facilities.
- Monitor changes in zoning regulations and assess their impact on healthcare services.

6. Project Support:
- Provide support for various projects related to healthcare zoning, including new facility development, expansion, and relocation.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure zoning requirements are met during the planning and design phases.

7. Community Engagement:
- Engage with community members and organizations to gather input and address concerns related to healthcare zoning.
- Promote awareness of zoning regulations and their implications for healthcare services in the community.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in zoning, urban planning, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of local zoning laws, regulations, and processes in Abu Dhabi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and report writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software is a plus.
