Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auction Assistant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the organization and execution of auctions, ensuring smooth operations while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the auction process and promoting our products effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Auction Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organization of auctions, including inventory management, cataloging items, and ensuring all auction materials are ready and accurate.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for potential buyers and sellers, providing them with information about upcoming auctions, items for sale, and auction procedures.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming auctions through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and online platforms.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of auction items, bids, and sales, and assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to auction outcomes.
- On-Site Support: Provide support during live auctions, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly, assisting bidders, and addressing inquiries as they arise.
- Post-Auction Activities: Assist in post-auction processes, including payment collection, item delivery coordination, and customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all auction processes comply with company policies and legal regulations, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in auction assistance, sales support, or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with auction management software or online platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
