Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auction Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai’s financial services sector. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of auctions, ensuring a seamless process for clients and stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Auction Preparation:
- Assist in the coordination and organization of auction events, including the preparation of auction materials, catalogues, and online listings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all auction items are accurately described and valued.
- Conduct market research to assess the value of auction items and provide insights for pricing strategies.

- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding auction inquiries and support throughout the auction process.
- Prepare and send auction notifications, updates, and results to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all client interactions.

- Logistics Management:
- Assist in the logistics of auction events, including venue setup, item display, and auction day operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available for auctions.

- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of auction items, bids, and results using our internal database and auction management software.
- Generate reports and summaries of auction performance for management review.

- Post-Auction Activities:
- Assist in the settlement and invoicing process for sold items, ensuring timely payments from buyers.
- Aid in the collection and distribution of unsold items post-auction.

- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations governing auctions and financial transactions in the UAE.
- Ensure all auction processes comply with industry standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on auctions, sales, or client services.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and valuation methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and auction management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a customer-centric approach.
