Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Caterer Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our catering operations, ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for various events, ensuring that all items meet the company's quality standards and client specifications.
- Help in the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and serving equipment in accordance with event requirements.
- Support the catering team in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and reporting any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
- Assist with transportation logistics by preparing and loading catering orders for delivery, ensuring all items are packaged securely and delivered on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items and coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth service flow during events.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and requests in a professional manner.
- Assist in the training of new catering staff and help foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or hospitality training is a plus.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in catering, food service, or a related field.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
