We are seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to our employees in the Information Technology sector in Dubai. The Chaplain will work closely with individuals and groups, offering guidance, counseling, and support to help them navigate the challenges they may face in their personal and professional lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential counseling and support to employees facing personal or work-related challenges
- Conduct religious services, ceremonies, and rituals as needed
- Offer spiritual guidance and mentorship to employees seeking spiritual growth and development
- Collaborate with other support services within the organization to ensure holistic care for employees
- Build relationships with employees and create a safe space for them to share their thoughts and feelings
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide support during times of need
- Offer pastoral care to employees and their families during times of illness, loss, or other difficult circumstances
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field
- Ordained or licensed as a chaplain
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
- Understanding of the unique challenges faced by employees in the Information Technology sector
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
