Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to join our team in Dubai. The CLO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in all legal matters related to our educational institution. The successful candidate will oversee all legal aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to protect the organization's interests and mitigate risks
- Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management on a wide range of issues, including contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance
- Manage and oversee all legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, negotiations, and other interactions with external parties
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and provide training on legal matters
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and advise on potential impacts
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, with a Master's degree preferred
- Licensed to practice law in Dubai, with knowledge of UAE laws and regulations
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a legal role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal issues and providing strategic legal advice
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
