Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Coding Specialist to join our team in Sharjah. As a Coding Specialist in the Aerospace and Defense industry, you will be responsible for accurately assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records for billing and reimbursement purposes. You will work closely with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure that all coding is done in compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze patient records to accurately assign codes for diagnoses and procedures
- Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve any discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes and updates to coding guidelines and regulations
- Participate in coding audits and quality assurance initiatives to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure proper coding and billing practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-8 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
