Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Communications Manager to lead our communications strategy within the education sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong understanding of communication principles, and extensive experience in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects, work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and enhance the visibility and reputation of our educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communication Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote our educational programs and initiatives.
- Identify key messaging and communication channels to effectively reach target audiences, including students, parents, educators, and community stakeholders.

2. Content Development:
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website updates, and marketing materials.
- Oversee the production of multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and presentations, to support communication efforts.

3. Media Relations:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with local and regional media outlets to secure coverage for initiatives and events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage press engagements effectively.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including faculty, administration, and enrollment, to gather information and insights for communication efforts.
- Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and forums to engage stakeholders and promote educational initiatives.

5. Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance online presence and engage with the community.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and analyze engagement metrics to optimize communication efforts.

6. Crisis Communication:
- Prepare and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues and ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Provide guidance and support during crises to maintain the institution’s reputation.

7. Performance Measurement:
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, using metrics to inform future initiatives.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess stakeholder perceptions and improve communication efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the education sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the education landscape in Abu Dhabi and the UAE is a plus.
