Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects within the consumer goods sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, with a focus on ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

- Site Management:
Oversee daily operations at construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.

- Budget Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.

- Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and laborers. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

- Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns that may arise.

- Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Prepare and submit all necessary permits and documentation.

- Problem-Solving:
Identify potential challenges and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks. Respond effectively to unexpected issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

- Quality Control:
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that all work meets required specifications and standards. Conduct final inspections and oversee punch list completion.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the UAE.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green construction techniques.
