Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design operations within our healthcare organization, ensuring that design processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic goals. This role will bridge the gap between design teams, stakeholders, and project management to deliver innovative healthcare solutions that enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.

2. Process Optimization:
- Analyze current design processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Develop and document design operations policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all design initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, UX, engineering, and marketing teams to streamline communication and enhance project outcomes.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for design-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring clear communication and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and regulatory bodies to gather insights and requirements for design projects.
- Conduct regular design reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

4. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and support design team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the design team.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team development.

5. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the design operations vision, goals, and strategic initiatives in line with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare design.
- Contribute to the development of long-term design strategies that align with the organization’s mission and vision.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design operations, project management, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, as well as design collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements within the healthcare sector is an advantage.
